Full Description

Cheshire Lines Committee station building (1) with a pre-1910 date (2) as it is present on the map of that year. Serving the villages of Cuddington and Sandiway, the level of traffic for the terminus was significant enough to warrant the nearby existence of a goods shed with sidings, and a building labelled as Station Hotel on the 1910 Ordnance Survey map (SJ 5996 7160). The building is still in use as a station by 1973. (3)
