Summary

A ha-ha runs north-south west of Vale Royal House. It consists of a ditch and bank, the bank is revetted by a stone wall. Ha-Ha's are boundary features which prevented livestock form entering formal gardens but were constructed in such as way that they did not interrupt the view. They probably date form the early 19th century when John Webb rearranged the approaches to Vale Royal House.

A ha-ha runs north-south 210m west of Vale Royal House. It consists of a ditch & bank, the bank revetted by a stone wall. Probably early 19th century when John Webb rearranged the approaches to Vale Royal House (1).
