Full Description
A bronze globe shaped terminal/staff knob with openwork design of crosses within circles & further decorated with evenly spaced small convex domes. The shaft of the terminal is pierced in several places for attachment. Height 6.35cm & diam 4.65cm. Identified by the Medieval Department, British Museum, as medieval in date (1).
