Full Description
Church of St Mary, Whitegate Road. Late medieval refaced in 1728 and altered again in 1874-5. Red English garden wall bond brick with plain tile roof. Nave with side aisles, chancel and western tower with south-west vestry, and tower dating from 1728. Interior: eight octagonal wooden piers remain in the nave of 15th century date (1).
