Full Description
Mutilated socket stone of cross. Not in situ (1). Sandstone cross base at the gate of Marton Grange. Carved from a 60cm cube of stone, square at the base and octagonal above. The Marton scoket has been broken and the base now resembles a large arm chair (2).
