Map shows an icehouse marked with a building marked and a possible square pond to the NE.

Ice house and well marked.

Record of a site visit to locate two different ice houses marked on the 1st and second edition OS maps. Unable to find an ice house (or the watercourse described) at the location indicated on the CHER map and on the First Edition Ordnance Survey Map (SJ 6859 7532). It was not marked on the Second Edition.
