Summary
A group of 17 pottery fragments were recovered from the topsoil in a garden in Winsford. Some of the sherds are medieval in date (probably 13th century) and may be from jugs. They are clear-glazed red/grey bodied local types. The remaining sherds are 17th - 19th century in date.

Full Description
A group of 17 pottery fragments were recovered from the topsoil in the garden of Chepstow Close, Winsford. 9 sherds are medieval in date (probably 13th century) and may be from jugs. 2 have incised horizontal lines and 1 appears to have an applied strip decorating the exterior. All are clear-glazed red/grey bodied local types. The remaining sherds are 17th - 19th century in date. (1)
