Summary

Grade II listed water-powered cornmill. The lower storey is probably 17th century with a 3rd storey and loft added in the 19th century. It is situated on Cogshall Brook and is shown on maps of Cheshire by Burdett (1775), Greenwood (1819), Swire and Hutchings (1830), Bryant (1831) and the Tithe Award (1844).

Full Description

Marbury Mill. Water-powered cornmill, lower storey probably 17th century with 3rd storey & loft added in 19th century. Full architectural description (1). Mill situated on Cogshall Brook. First mentioned in a plea of 1499. Shown on maps by Burdett (1775), Greenwood (1819), Swire and Hutchings (1830), Bryant (1831) and the Tithe Award (1844) (2).
