Full Description
Glebe Cottage, Church Street. C17, refronted early C19 and extended to left on upper storey mid C20. Painted brick with clay tile roof. Originally an oak-framed lobby-entrance cottage of three cells and 1.5 storeys; door moved probably C19; small wood casements of four and six panes, of C19 type. The roof is lower over right bay, with sprocketed dormer two ridge chimneys, that to right, behind former position of entrance, is massive within the house. Interior: Chamfered oak beams on lower storey; rough oak purlins in right bedrooms. Full architectural description (1).
