Course of medieval road. Branches fron road 1881/1/1 at SJ 53906188 & runs NE to a possible chapel site at the Hemitage (CHER 869/1/0). A continuation northwards may be determined at several points at modern ditch crossings leading north to meet the present main Chester road at SJ 54236332.

No evidence for the road was found during a brief field visit.

The rood cross (CHER 869/1/1) probably gave the name to Road Street. The road passing the hermitage and Iddinshall was at the boundary of Iddinshall and Tarporley.
