Full Description
Flaxyards Farmhouse, Rhuddal Heath. Dated 1665 on gable bressumer of one wing with later 17th or early 18th century and mid 18th century additions and alterations. Red Flemish bond brick and coursed red sandstone with slate roof (1). Interior: Stopped bevelled beams and ovols moulded beams and exposed joists at ground and first floors. Attic has original purlins and cross-framing. Ancient moated site (2). Full architectural description (1)and (2).
