Full Description

Cottage, mid seventeenth century, of oak small framing with brick nogging and probably some plaster panels; thatched roof. One storey plus attic. Two four-pane casements to lower storey; boarded door; one dormer with replaced casement to upper storey. Rendered chimney behind ridge on right gable. Interior not inspected.

This map depicts two rectangular buildings, whose long axes are orientated approximately north-south, in one plot. The plot is described as a house and garden occupied by William Johnson. This record represents the northern of the two buildings. For the northern building see CHER 738/0/1.
