Full Description
<1> Gastrell F, 1845-1850, Notitia Cestriensis, or historical notices of the diocese of Chester, Vol.I p.254 (Article in Journal). SCH2290.
Eaton or Ayton Hall, built of timber and plaster, with a moat, formerley a seat of the Bulkeleys of Bulkeley in Broxton hundred, ancesters of the Lords Bulkeley of Beaumaris, is now the property of the Lord Delamere.

First documentary reference to Yeiton dates from 1290.
