Site of Eaton Hall. There are traces of 15th and 16th century building. First mentioned in 1290 it was built of timber and plaster with a moat.

Full Description

Eaton or Ayton Hall, built of timber and plaster, with a moat, formerley a seat of the Bulkeleys of Bulkeley in Broxton hundred, ancesters of the Lords Bulkeley of Beaumaris, is now the property of the Lord Delamere.

First documentary reference to Yeiton dates from 1290.

This map depicts a number of buildings and a garden. The plot is described as "house garden fold yard etc."
