Full Description
Well House Farmhouse, Edgewell Lane. Late 17th century. Timber- framed with rendered infill. Baffle-entry plan, two storeys. Front - 14 x 3 cells of small framing on a rendered stone plinth with angle braces to sides. Brick addition at left painted in simulation of timber-framing. Rear - 9 x 3 cells of small framing. Interior: Ingle nook fireplace and chamfered ceiling beams to parlour. Dining room has bread oven built into the side of the hearth (1). Full architectural description (1) and (2).
