Full Description
A stone axe was found in Holland's field Tarporley. Now in Chester Museum (1). Listed as Craig Llwyd type, Group VII (2). Tithe Map shows Long Hollands field at SJ 558627 & Barn Croft field, the only field owned by William Holland at SJ 55376232 (3). Polished axe, facetted sides, brown-grey fine grained rock: Group VII, illustrated (4).
