Full Description
Two Roman coins found at Wallerscote. A sestertius of Hadrian from the mint of Rome AD 118, was found when digging trenches for electricity cables on the north bank of the river Weaver. A denarius of Maximinus was found during river dredging. Both identified by Grosvenor Museum (1).
