Full Description
Oval seal martix of good quality red glass paste set into a conical bronze handle. Seal is of the Sigillum Secretum variety with an intaglio design consisting of a male figure, with hands raised to the lips, with a border of small leaves. Late 15th to early 17th century date. Found by Mr Stubbs of Winsford & reported by Mr T.G.Holman of 31, Millfields, Nantwich (1).
