Seven Oaks, Senna Green, first mentioned in 1353 (1). Formerly a hamlet of Higher Whitley, which was formerly Whitley Lordship. The lordship was of the barony of Halton in the Duchy of Lancaster (1). OS 1inch 1840 shows Seven Oaks Farm at SJ 635791 (2).
