Summary

Grade II listed Inn, formerly a farmhouse. It was built in the mid 17th century and altered by the Arley Estate in the late 19th century. It also has had 20th century alterations. It has a pebbledashed and painted brick exterior with grey slate roofs. The former barn or shippon (cowhouse) is now a restaurant which forms the left wing of the building. A rainwater head is inscribed JH:A 1713.

Cock Inn, Warrington Road.Inn, probably mid 17th century and early 18th century, altered by the Arley Estate late 19th century and internally mid/late 20th century.Pebbledashed and painted brick; grey slate roofs.The Inn, at one time a farmhouse, is double-depth with former barn or shippon, now restaurant, forming left wing.Rainwater head inscribed JH:A 1713 (1).
