Summary

Grade II listed late 17th / early 18th century farmhouse with some later alterations. It is built of coursed sandstone rubble It is three storeys high and is a very substantial yeoman's farmhouse for the area. To the north is a contemporary coursed sandstone barn with large central entrance, ventilation slots, and heavy roof timbers visible in the gable end.

Late C17-early C18 farmhouse with some later alterations. Coursed sandstone rubble, three storeys: 3-2-3 C19 wood mullioned windows; string courses; two shallow gables; doorway in restored keyed stone surround with ledged door, old stone slates (1).

Very substantial yeoman's farmhouse for the area, has additional wing to rear which retains label moulds. To the north is a contemporary substantial, coursed sandstone barn with large central entrance, ventilation slots, label moulds and heavy roof timbers visible in gable end.

Farmhouse. Late C17. Coursed and squared rubble with stone-flagged roof and substantial internal timber frame. 3-storeyed, 3-window range with central entrance hall. EXTERIOR: doorway in ovolo-moulded architrave flanked by 3-light wood mullioned window on each floor, the stone architraves all that remains of former stone mullioned windows. Smaller 2-light mullioned windows on each floor over the doorway. Various blocked openings to right and left on each floor. String courses above each storey. Shallow gables form dormers to attic storey windows, with lozenge panels at apex. Parallel rear range with large wood mullioned windows lighting stairs. Gable end and axial stacks. INTERIOR contains substantial quantities of timber-framing for internal walls, with chamfered beams to ceilings and fireplace bressumers. Late C17 staircase with twisted balusters and moulded rail.
