Summary

Site of the old chapel at Capesthorne. Situated next to the remains of the old manor house to the south west of the present hall. It was demolished and replaced by the chapel of the Holy Trinity attached to the new hall in 1722. The foundations of the old chapel are now beneath parkland. The remains of the old hall, chapel and settlement are a Scheduled Monument.

Site of the old chapel at Capesthorne. Situated next to the manor house (RN:1355/1) to the SW of the present hall. Demolished and replaced by the chapel of the Holy Trinity attached to the new hall in 1722. Foundations of old chapel are now beneath parkland.
