Full Description
Row of 3 houses with former weavers' garret over, now 2 houses with commercial premises above, dating to around 1830. Brick with Welsh slate roof. 3-storeyed, 4 window range. 3 doorways toward center, the central doorway giving direct access to the staircase serving the upper floor only. 2-pane sash windows each side of doorways. Blocked doorway to left. Undivided garret floor lit by three 3 light long windows, former horizontally sliding sash windows, but now renewed in original openings. Axial stacks. The building is of special interest as a rare example of a type of weaving workshop and terraced housing in which the garret is not accessible via the houses (1).
