Find Spot record 1301 - Prehistoric findspot (hammer stone) in Agden

A Bronze Age circular hammer stone was found in a field at Woolstencroft Farm, Agden, in April 1957. The stone has a depression worked in each face and has been petrologically identified by Russell Coope of Birmingham, as greywacke. It was presented to the the Grosveneor Museum (1). The hammer stone was found on the surface of the field (2).
