Full Description
The Green, Huxley Lane. Pair of semi-detached cottages. Formerly one mid C17 house with extensive mid/late C19 alterations. Timber framed with brick infill and plain tile roof. Two storeys. Entrance front: Close studding with angle braces. Two mirror image cottages. The lefthand one has casement windows and a timber-framed gable. To the left is a lean-to brick porch. All the windows on this front have decorative glazing bars forming a honeycombe pattern of hexagons. Originally one C17 farmhouse, the building was adapted by the Peckforton Estate.
