Full Description
Newton Hall, Newton Hall Lane. House, 17th century with 19th and 20th century additions. Rendered and whitewashed brick with stone dressings. Slate roof. Entrance front: stone plinth, brick string course between ground and first floors. Three gables, with 19th century bargeboards. Large 20th century additions to left. Late 17th century wing to rear. Interior: chamfered and end stopped ceiling beams to adjacent parlours on ground floor, both of which have stone fire breasts with large stone slab lintels.
