Full Description
A medieval soil layer, interpreted as a cultivation soil was recorded during archaeological investigations on the site of the old Drill Hall, Duke Street in 1983. The soil layer showed an accumulation of later soil deposits probably as a result of later garden deposits and rubbish pits in the post medieval period. (1)
