Full Description
A Neolithic retouched greyish flint knife was found on October 1965 in an earthen hedge bank, south of the road at Brookside Cottage. The knife measures c.1.2 x 0.4 x 0.1 cms and is unifacially retouched on all edges except the bulbar end, with broad retouch to the right and fine retouch to the left. The evidence is that the knife was never hafted and was meant to be used in the hand. Now in the Grosvenor Museum, Chester (1).
