Traces of possible fishponds and channels associated with moat. Visited as part of MPP in 1991. Adjacent to the north-east corner of the moat are three probable fishponds, two dry and one boggy with a dry connecting channel. These have been heavily disturbed and may have been used for marl extraction. A large dry fishpond adjacent to the moat's north-west corner is undisturbed. Site not scheduled because of damage.
<3> Environment Agency, 2003-2020, Environment Agency LiDAR Surveys, Composite DSM 1m (17/12/2021) (Digital Archive). SCH7819.
