Please read our .

Summary

The southerly of two cropmark enclosures found during aerial survey and confirmed by geophysical survey and trial excavation. The latter revealed a ditched enclosure with internal buildings, possibly a small farmstead. Although limited, the few artefacts recovered, would indicate that it dates from the Romano-British period.
