Full Description
Formerly farmhouse and cottage. Early C17 but altered to farmbuildings in C19. Coursed squared sandstone rubble with Kerridge stone- slate roof. House, cottage and farmbuildings form a long downhill range. House is of two storeys and was of four bays. North front has C19 openings. To rear are blocked single-light fire windows in end bays, two three-light hollow chamfered stone mullioned windows between, two-light above. Interior has bevelled fire surround and some chamfered beams. Two-storey, three-bay cottage has similar windows and original doorcase. Interior has a mantelshelf on fluted casoles and ovolo-moulded beams in ground floor (1).
