Summary

In the William Salt Library, Stafford, is an original building contract and drawings for a combined barn, stable and shippon between Humphrey Perry and John Featherstone. It is an unusually early (1706) and thorough document and remarkable for having drawings. The buildings were later shown to have been at Lower Beech Farm, Tytherington which is now demolished.

Full Description

In the William Salt Library, Stafford, is an original building contract and drawings for a combined barn, stable and shippon between Humphrey Perry and John Featherstone. It is an unusually early (1706) and thorough document and remarkable for having drawings. A full transcription was made by Molly Spink, Tytherington History Group (1). Later shown to have been at Lower Beech Farm, Tytherington, and is now demolished (3).
