Full Description
Rainowlow Farmhouse. C17 but extensive C20 alterations. Coursed, squared, buff sandstone rubble. Stone-slate roof, stone ridge and two stone chimneys. Rectangular in plan but C20 additions make it L-shaped. Two- storey, two-bay south front. All windows C20. Interior: Chamfered fire beam and ceiling beams. Panelled doors. One room is a dairy with stone slabs. Included in attached east garden rubble wall are two bee-holes with flagged backs and lintels (1).
