Summary

Grade II listed farmhouse and attached barn. The house was built in the late 17th /early 18th century and barn is an early 19th century addition. The walls are coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. It has a stone-slate roof and two stone chimneys.

Full Description

Brown House, Hedge Row. Farmhouse and attached Barn. Late C17/early C18 with later C18 windows and barn an early C19 addition. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Stone-slate roof and two stone chimneys. House has two-storey, three-bay west front. Stone mullion windows. Attached barn has central door in hammer-dressed surround and ventilation slots to either side. To rear rubble mullion and stone mullion window (1).
