Summary

Grade II listed farmhouse and attached barn. Built in the late 17th century with 19th century alterations. Sandstone rubble with a stone-slate roof and one brick chimney. Long rectangular plan of two room gable entry cottage to south, barn to north. Two-storey, three-bay east front.

Full Description

Winterfold Farmhouse and attached barn, Sugar Lane. Late C17 with C19 alterations. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble. Stone-slate roof and one brick chimney. Long rectangular plan of two room gable entry cottage to south, barn to north. Two-storey, three-bay east front. Wooden casements. Interior: Plan intact. Heck post and screen replacements but two chamfered ceiling beams. Roof structure intact (1).
