Summary

Grade II listed farmhouse. Built in the later 17th century with later additions. It has coursed squared buff sandstone rubble walls with stone dressings and a stone-slate roof.

Full Description

Newton Hall Farmhouse, Lees Lane. Later C17 with later additions. Coursed squared buff sandstone rubble, stone dressings. Stone-slate roof. Three-bay north front. Right end bay has five-light tall rebated chamfered stone mullioned window with a moulded flat hood above. Similar three-light above in a gabled half dormer. Left end bay probably similar but partly hidden by a brick lean-to. Central doorway also hidden by a lean-to porch. External stone steps lead to a cellar. Full architectural description (1).
