Full Description
Lease Farm Cottage, Morley Green Road. Formerly farmhouse and labourers cottage, now a house. C17 with C20 alterations and additions. Timber framed on brick plinth, thatched roof. Long rectangular plan with two room gable-entry house as core. Four-bay south front. Left end bay is lower and is the former cottage and has three-light dormer swept over by thatch. Right end bay is a C20 addition. Interior: shouldered lintel to former gable-entry by chamfered heck post and fire beam, chamfered ceiling beams. Three-light square-sectioned wood mullioned window now contained inside does not appear to have been glazed. Full architectural description (1&2).
