Full Description
Fallows Hall, Chelford Road. Farmhouse, 17th century core, early l8th century addition with early 19th and 20th century alterations. Brick with stone-slate roof. L-shaped plan. Four-bay front. Left end bay has wooden casement under stone lintels. Five-panelled door is flanked by casements under stone lintels. Right two bays project under gable. Interior: Righthand portion probably timber framed originally. Inglenook arrangement survives with chamfered tie beam and deeply chamfered ceiling beam. In other room ceiling beam is bead moulded. Purlins and ridge original but trusses early 19th century. Full architectural descrition (1).
