Full Description
Farmbuilding c.50 yds north-west of Batemill Farm. Mid/late 17th century with 19th and 20th century additions and alterations. Timber framed with brick infill. Entrance front: 3 x 2 cells of small framing surviving with a corner post and angle braces. Rear wall now covered with corrugated iron and plastic but masking 8 x 2 cells of small framing with angle braces. Lefthand gable end has 4 x 2 cells of small framing with an angle-braced truss. Interior: Central truss of angled struts with Queen-post trusses to lefthand gable end. Dividing wall has some surviving small framing. Wind bracing to roof. Full architectural description (1).
