Full Description
Wyche's Farmhouse, Alderley Road. 17th century with 20th century brick additions and alterations. Partly timber framed with plaster infill on stone plinth, partly in washed brick, tile roof. Original timber-framed house, two room gable entry plan, but now T-shaped plan. Three-bay front. Left end bay is gable end of original house. 5 x 3 regular, timber small frames with a small Queen post truss. In gable is a square-sectioned wood mullioned window. Interior: timber frame intact except for north-west gable. Chamfered ceiling beam and small Queen post truss. Full architectural desription (1).
