Full Description
Holly Bank Farm, School Lane. Farmhouse, mid 17th century with 19th century additions and alterations. Timber framed with whitewashed brick infill and tile roof. Three cell baffle-entry plan. Entrance front: stone plinth, 13 x 3 cells of small framing with angle braces to corners. To either side are 19th century two-storey additions. Rear: 19th and 20th century additions. Timber framed portion to right of centre with 5 x 3 cells of small framing and angle braces. Interior: chamfered beams to ground floor. Queen post truss to first floor with angle braces, struts and wind bracing. Full architectural descripion (1).
