Village Cross: Medieval base, shaft and head dated 1832. Ashlar buff sandstone - two graduated square steps support a large square block. On this is a tapering octagonal shaft with a square foot, head and central band. This supports a larger square head with a cross to the front, the arms of the Wright family to the left, and the date of restoration to the rear.

The cross has been moved a short distance from its original site, marked by a plaque in the pavement.

SJ 8800 7853 a plain socket stone and base with a modern style shaft dated 1832. There appears to be no reason to suppose that it was a market cross. See G.P. AO/64/7/5. [J.H. White F.I. 25/03/1964]
