Full Description
Possible site of mill. Remains of a mill, built about 1335 'in what is at present a large willow-bed, not far from the junction of the two rivers, the Bollin and the Dean, at Twinney Bridge' (1). At SJ83358244 the banks of the Bollin are revetted with masonry, but there are no other remains. Timber uprights of a weir were removed from across the river at this point (2).
