Summary

The site of the medieval and later Peover Mill. The mill is first mentioned in documents dating from the late thirteenth century and the mill building was demolished in the mid twentieth century. Structures associated with the mill sluices survive, and subsurface archaeological remails associated with the medieval mill and its post medieval successors are expected to survive in this area.
