Full Description
Booths Mill, a 14th century watermill site on Marthall Brook, east of Knutsford (1). Milling continued until 1965, using electricity. Only the wheel shaft remained, but the building was of some age with fine roof trusses. There was a turbine installed and used up to 1943 when the dam burst (2).
