Summary

Grade II listed cottage. Built in the 17th century with 20th century additions. It is timber-framed with brick nogging and an extension in brick. It has a stone-slate roof. The original was L-shaped and the current building is now T-shaped. At the time of recording it was derelict with some of the outer wall and roof collapsed.

Full Description

Cottage, ll0m SSW of Woodland House, Bollington Lane. 17th century with 20th century addition. Timber-framed with brick nogging and extension in brick. Stone-slate roof. Original was L-shaped, now T-shaped. Small framed with some angle bracing to wall plate. Derelict condition with some outer walling and roof collapsed. Interior: Weakly ovolo-moulded beam in main room and most roof timbers intact. Full architectural descrption (1).
