Please read our .

Summary

The northerly of two cropmark enclosures found during aerial survey and confirmed by geophysical survey and trial excavation. The latter revealed a ditched enclosure with internal buildings, possibly a small farmstead. Although there was no secure dating evidence, the site is consistent with similar sites in the region which date from the Iron Age and/or Romano-British periods.
