Summary

Grade II listed row of three cottages. Built in the late 17th century with later additions. The row has a brick exterior masking the original timber frame and a stone-slate roof.

Full Description

Nos. 3, 4 & 5 Church Cottages, Holmes Chapel Road. Row of three cottages. Late C17 and later. Brick masking original timber frame. Stone slate roof. Entrance front - central late C17 cottage has gabled dormer to first floor with decorative timber framing. To right of this is a cottage, burned and largely rebuilt this century. Lefthand cottage is a C19 addition. Interior: No.4 has small framing to internal walls and chamfered ceiling beams to ground floor rooms. Full architectural descritpion (1).
