Full Description
Fragments of Roman pottery were recovered during alterations to the floor of the Cathedral Crypt in 1924. The pottery represented three vessels including a grey ware dish of uncertain date, a small late first century samian dish of Form 18 and two fragments of decorated samian form 29 ware from a bowl (1)
