Full Description
The Mews and Lowerhouse Hill Cottage, Albert Road. Formerly farmhouse and barn, now two houses. C17 with C19 and C20 alterations. Buff sandstone, Kerridge slate roof. Three stone chimneys. Originally L- shaped, now rectangular with a converted corn barn to the west, part of original farmhouse to east. Demolition of a barn has revealed a timber-framed wall and roof truss of a collar and tiebeam. Full architectural description (1 & 2).
