Full Description
No.9 Moss Brow. Formerly farmhouse, now house. Early C17 with C20 alterations and additions. Coursed buff sandstone rubble, stone-slate roof, with stone-coped gables, one with ball finials. Stone ridge and chimney. Rectangular plan, three-storey, one-bay. C20 wooden casements under original rubble hood moulds. Half-hidden chamfered mullion window lights barrel- vaulted cellar. Interior: Exposed timber, small framed partitions. Early 17 dogleg stairs. Chamfered ceiling beams. C17 six-panelled door. Original floorboards on first and second floor (1).
